Los Angeles City Council to Consider LAX Specific Plan Conforming and Technical Amendments
During its regularly scheduled meeting on May 21, 2013 at 10:00am, the City Council will review and again consider conforming and technical amendments to the LAX Specific Plan as a follow-up to the Council's recent actions on the LAX Specific Plan Amendment Study (SPAS) EIR and related documents. Actions taken by the Los Angeles City Council may be subject to review or approval by other decision-making bodies including, but not limited to, the Los Angeles City Mayor. Various state and federal reviews and approvals, including review by the Federal Aviation Administration, will also be required prior to implementation. The meeting will be held in the John Ferraro Council Chamber, Room 340 of Los Angeles City Hall at 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, California 90012.

During its regularly scheduled meeting on May 14, 2013 at 10:00am, the City Council will review and consider conforming and technical amendments to the LAX Specific Plan as a follow-up to the Council's recent actions on the LAX Specific Plan Amendment Study (SPAS) EIR and related documents. The Los Angeles City Council will review and consider the LAX SPAS on April 30, 2013 at 10:00am. The meeting will be held in the John Ferraro Council Chamber, Room 340 of Los Angeles City Hall at 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, California 90012.
During its regularly scheduled meeting, the City Council will review and consider amendments to the LAX Specific Plan and LAX Plan, the LAX Environmental Impact Report, along with the City of Los Angeles Planning Commission Report and Los Angeles City Council Planning & Land Use Management Committee and Trade, Commerce & Tourism Committee’s joint decision on LAX SPAS. LAX SPAS Update: Los Angeles City Council Committee Meeting
A joint meeting of the Los Angeles City Council Planning & Land Use Management Committee and Trade, Commerce & Tourism Committee (TCT/PLUM) regarding LAX SPAS is scheduled for April 9, 2013 at 2:30 PM in the John Ferraro Council Chamber, Room 340 of Los Angeles City Hall at 200 North Spring Street, Los Angeles, California 90012.
During this meeting, the Committees will review and consider amendments to the LAX Specific Plan and LAX Plan, the LAX Environmental Impact Report, along with the City of Los Angeles Planning Commission Report. Actions taken by these Committees may be subject to review or approval by other decision-making bodies including, but not limited to, the Los Angeles City Council and the Mayor. Various state and federal reviews and approvals, including review by the Federal Aviation Administration, will also be required prior to implementation.

Posted: 03/14/2013 - Notice is hereby given that the Los Angeles County Airport Land Use Commission (ALUC) will conduct a public hearing concerning General Plan (GP) amendments associated with the City of Los Angeles Specific Plan Amendment Study (SPAS) for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 150 at the Hall of Records, 320 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, California 90012. Please note, the ALUC will only consider the GP amendments and not the selection of airport improvement included in the LAX SPAS.
